Tanya is glad to be back this year as a Longhorn! Education is her passion. She has been involved in some way or another in education since 2005 and a special education teacher since 2008. She graduated from Arizona State University (GO SUN DEVILS) with a Bachelor's in Special Education, a Master's in Early Childhood and Applied Behavior Analysis, and finishing her Doctorate in Special Education Leadership. Tanya worked in the special education classroom as a paraprofessional and a special education teacher. She has worked in leadership roles as a Special Education Team Lead, a Special Education Director, and a Special Programs Facilitator. She is married and has two daughters.
